Issue Two is out! And it still has that new No Umbrella smell!

This is a great one with many of our favorite characters back in the fold...
We have Zeke making a triumphant return to No Umbrella with an introduction to disc golf for all of you non-huckers... he also has begun a new column entitled "Argument of the Month" starring none other than myself and Sully...Check out the conflict! But be forewarned of the carnage that ensues!
Also, we have Don and Nancy Chandler of Oak Pond Brewery providing us with an expert analysis of how to taste beer (no funnel required)...
In addition, there is a splendid fiction piece from newcomer Beth Collins. I just love that one.... Pat Abbott is back with a piece about sailing - in the Western Mountains of Maine! Newcomer Tara Campbell lets us in on the secrets of service dogs - and what good paddling companions they make!!!
Also, Jon Tierney offers some expert advice for folks who yearn to get into sport climbing.
Old friends Eric Goodwin and Emily Pilachowski have returned from Texas with a report on the Big Bend area and the rivers there. The twist is, Eric wrote this report!!!
We also have Dan Piano writing about a whitewater trip on the Elkhead where they used snowmobiles for shuttle ... novel, wouldn't you say?
Newcomer Kristen Lundquist has a wonderful poem about Lady Slippers...
And Tanya Mitchell writes about her first taste of Moxie, plus she has some riveting interviews with Todd Towle - the fishing guide of the month - and Unicycle Max, who rode his unicycle all over New England to raise money for college...
There's a bunch more in there too, so get to your nearest No Umbrella dealer and get in on the fun!
P.S. We still have T-shirts available in all sizes (brown for S, M, XXL and 3X - black for L and XL) for subscribers - both new and renewals...
PPS There were some technical difficulties over the past week with the noumbrella website, which included my and all of our staff's email. This has been resolved. If any of you tried to reach us over the past week, it probably did not go through and your email is floating around in cyberspace (kinda scary...). Please re-send and accept my apologies.
Because of this, we are extending the deadline for the August issue to July 18...
Free Classifieds:
In order to build the classifieds section, I am offering recipients of this newsletter to take advantage of a limited-time offer to EMAIL A FREE CLASSIFIED. This is generally not allowed. Usually, it's just the folks who clip the ad of out of the paper they bought who get a free classified. But since I like you guys so much... Aw shucks. Now I'm getting sentimental.
Hope you guys enjoy the issue and we'll see you out there!
