Our June issue is out!

We've got a great issue on our hands here, guys. It's lots of fun, and there's a bunch of new and old writers in there.

This our first issue as "No Umbrella - Maine's Offbeat Outdoor Paper."
So I hope you still recognize us, but also that you enjoy the new sections.

To non-subscribers:
Sorry, but the full issue is not posted online (we've got to make some money somewhere :). However, you can easily visit one of these fine Merchants to pick one up for just a dollar! Believe me, you'll be glad you did! Here's a look at the table of contents as proof:

If people would like to carry No Umbrella at your place of business, let's get you an order and see how they sell! There's more info on that here.

Free Classifieds:
There is a free classified ad form in each issue. In honor of that, I'm going to make a quick list of stuff you might have in your attic or your dooryard that you could sell in the pages of No Umbrella:

  • Canoe
  • Old street signs
  • Old bikes
  • Old skateboards
  • Your kids' baseball cards
  • A stinky Wetsuit
  • Skiis
  • Ice-fishing traps
  • Shotgun
  • Gorp Recipes
  • Your old car

In order to build the classifieds section, I am offering recipients of this newsletter to take advantage of a limited-time offer to EMAIL A FREE CLASSIFIED. This is generally not allowed. Usually, it's just the folks who clip the ad of out of the paper they bought who get a free classified. But since I like you guys so much... Aw shucks. Now I'm getting sentimental.

*Note to subscribers: Could you please let me know what day you reveived your No Umbrella... I switched methods for subscriptions, and I'd like to make sure that it is working. Thanks.

Hope you guys enjoy the issue
Thanks, Nick
