Yo! Hello There!
Anybody been Paddling yet? How about this: Anybody been skiing yet?
What a long summer this has been, huh!?!... Anyway, on with the show!

Recent No Umbrella Accomplishments:
>Our first installment of the 2006 Paddling Picture Show was held on Tuesday night February 28, at Bowdoin College. Zeke made a highlight reel of the event, available here. (by the way, that's Captain Eli's root beer in the movie ... not a bottle of brown ale)
The event was a big hit...40 people - students and local residents alike - showed up and checked out the grassroots paddling movies we collected from friends and contacts.
The idea behind the Paddling Picture Show is to give amatuer paddling filmmakers an outlet for their work and to bring together paddlers of all levels for a pre-season get-together, with no strings attached.

On the program are films from:
Joe Hines ("The Paddling Picture Show")
Dan Piano ("Cold Summer")
Karyn Roy ("Return of the River Rats")
Michael Alden ("Kenduskeag Canoe Race Slide Show")
and more...

Also, available at the events is a bag of free stuff from No Umbrella and the other companies/organizations who threw down to make this all happen:
Teva   |   Northern Outdoors   |    Run of River Project   |   Captain Eli's Soda   |   N'East Magazine

Plus, don't miss the Paddling Picture Show Shirts, they're lookin' good (and they're FREE with a donation to help cover costs!)
