Hi there. Welcome to the first No Umbrella email newsletter.

You received this because a) you gave No Umbrella your email address or you gave Nick Callanan your email address; and, b) I made this newsletter and emailed it to you. Imagine that!
So, with no further fanfare, on with the show:

Recent Accomplishments:
Zeke and I have both officially kicked our poison ivy. No word on Corey Graham's. We three caught the agonizing rash associated with this currently rampant plant at the Mattawamkeag River in Mattawamkeag, Maine three weeks ago.
Accomplishment #2:

Accomplishment #3:
With the help of Denise Leblanc and friends and daughters, we put on the final segment of the 2005 No Umbrella Spring Paddling Film Series, June 5 in Skowhegan. It was a resounding success. Thanks to the boys down at the National Paddling Film Festival in Lexington, KY for working with us and supplying the killer paddling footage. This spring we also conducted Film Nights at Unity College and UMaine Orono. Look for the Spring Paddling Series again in 2006!

Upcomings and goings:

Well, that's it. Hope you enjoyed the show. I'd love to hear people's feedback because my brain can be a pretty strange place when it's just my own thoughts bouncing around in here. Drop me a line sometime.
Thanks for reading,
Nick
